This has been my trusty photography backpack for a while now. It absolutely maxes out carry-on capacity during flights, especially now that airlines are getting stricter about it.
The best part is simple but brilliant: it stands up. The flat bottom means when you put it down, it stays upright, which makes it much nicer to live with on shoots and in transit.
This is a cheap little tripod, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by it.
I used to come back from trips with endless selfies, which is fine, but this gives you group shots and different angles that feel much more like actual memories.

These are the gels I use for races. I’ve tried a lot of different ones, and I keep coming back to Precision Hydration because the flavor is mild and neutral.
That matters in a long race. The 90 g packs are especially useful because they have a cap, so you can open and close them instead of tearing through multiple smaller gels every hour.
This tiny thing is brilliant for filming ProRes on the iPhone.
With the Blackmagic Camera app, it records straight to the drive, which makes the whole setup feel much more serious without adding much bulk.

It has a laptop sleeve, a little bit of padding on the back, and it still stays very slim and compact. I sometimes add a bungee cord extender on top if I want to strap down a jacket or something bulkier. It looks great for travel.
